Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Sylhet unit activists guarded several temples in the district last night to prevent any kind of attack.
Their initiative was lauded by Sylhet residents.
Temples and houses were attacked in several districts, including in Sylhet, during the Durga Puja.
