Bayejid Khondker gets ARCASIA Awards for Architecture-2023

Architect Bayejid Mahbub Khondker, principal architect of Nakshabid Architects, was conferred two gold medals at the ARCASIA Awards for Architecture-2023, according to a press release.

On September 18, he was awarded a gold medal under the category "socially responsible architecture" in the 20th Congress of Architects Regional Council Asia at Boracay Newcoast Convention Centre in the Philippines for the project Greenfield Factory of Karupannya Rangpur Limited.

The design of the building, located in Robertsongonj, Rangpur, was successful in establishing a close bonding between human and nature while supporting the surrounding eco-system.

He was awarded another gold medal in the "industrial building" category for the same project.

Architects Mostafa Ameen, Iqbal Habib and Ishtiaque Zahir Titas also awarded as honorable mentions in different categories.
