Attempts on to tarnish govt’s image over commodity prices: Dipu Moni

Even though several ministries and organisations are making every effort to keep commodity prices within the reach of general public, some dishonest people are making attempts to tarnish government's image, Education Minister Dipu Moni said today.

The education minister said this while talking to the reporters after inaugurating a four-bed ICU room at Chandpur Government General Hospital, reports our local correspondent.

"We think the government will be able to keep the situation under control," she said.

Dipu Moni also said that the Covid situation is normal now. "However, even if the situation worsens in the future, work is underway to formulate a national policy to continue the study both online and offline," she said.

"We will be able to hand over this (national policy) to the prime minister this month," she added.

Superintendent of Chandpur Police Milon Mahmud, Chandpur Civil Surgeon Md Shahadat Hossain and many others were present at the inauguration programme.
