AL wants to come to power by stealing votes: Amir Khasru

The ruling Awami League is conspiring to come to power again by stealing votes, alleged BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury yesterday.

"The upcoming elections are being closely monitored by world leaders and the people of the country. Be very careful, apologise to the people or you won't find an escape route," he said while addressing a rally at Wazir Ali School ground in Jhenidah as chief guest.

"Rab, police and all the forces of the government are trying to put Hasina back in power to save them. There is no point in doing this. People will take to the streets in favour of democracy," he said.
