4 more cases filed against BNP leader

Four more cases have been filed against BNP's Rajshahi district unit Convener Abu Sayeed Chand for issuing a "death threat" to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during a public rally in Rajshahi.

With these, at least six cases have been filed against Chand in six districts.

Of the four fresh cases, one was filed in Rajshahi under the Anti-Terrorism Act and Explosives act on Monday night. Another was filed in Faridpur under Digital Security Act.

The two other cases were filed in Jamalpur and Natore.
