Waterlogging, Dengue: DNCC cancels holidays for staff

The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) cancelled the weekly holidays of its officials and employees in the concerned departments until further notice to expedite their efforts to tackle waterlogging, dengue situation, and waste management.

The notice, undersigned by DNCC Secretary Mohammad Mamun-Al-Hasan, was issued yesterday.

It clarifies that all officials, employees, and contractual workers in the relevant departments will be subject to this directive.

The cancellation of weekly holidays will remain in effect until further notice, the notice added.
