Saudi Foreign Minister arrives in Dhaka on two-day visit
Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud has arrived in Dhaka on a two-day visit for holding the first ever political dialogue.
Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen welcomed him at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 6:07pm.
Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen, Bangladesh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mohammad Javed Patwary, and other foreign ministry officials were present.
Apart from holding the political consultation, the Saudi foreign minister will call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, lay the foundation of an Arabic language institute.
The two countries are also likely to sign a number of memoranda of understanding.
Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen will lead the Bangladesh side and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan will lead the Saudi side at the consultation.
