PM Hasina meets Indian President Murmu before Queen Elizabeth's funeral starts

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today met Indian President Droupadi Murmu in London before the commencement of the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.

"President Droupadi Murmu met with Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehana just before commencement of the state funeral at London," the President's official Twitter account Rashtrapati Bhavan tweeted.

This was the second meeting between Hasina and Murmu in less than two weeks after the formal meeting at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on September 6.

The Bangladesh Prime Minister had called on the Indian president during Hasina's four-day state visit to India.
