No embargo on Bangladesh US Congressman Meeks says

US Congressman and Chair of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs Gregory W Meeks will visit Bangladesh this year to observe the human rights situation and other issues.

He said the US will not impose any embargo on Bangladesh as per the demands of any lobbyist.

Meeks said this at a fundraising luncheon function in the US on Monday, according to a statement of Bangladesh embassy in Washington yesterday.
