Indian army chief pays tribute to heroes of Bangladesh Liberation War

Visiting Indian Army Chief Gen Manoj Pande today paid tribute at Shikha Anirban in Dhaka to the members of Bangladesh Armed Forces who made supreme sacrifice in the Liberation War in 1971.

Gen Pande also paid a courtesy call on Security Affairs Advisor to Bangladesh prime minister and met his counterparts of Bangladeshi Armed Forces to discuss further cooperation, the Indian High Commission tweeted.

The Indian Army Chief is now on a three-day visit to Bangladesh, his first tour since assuming charge.
