Youth stabbed to death in Ctg

Miscreants stabbed a youth to death and injured another one in Chattogram city's Khulshi area this evening.

The deceased was identified as Md Hanif (19), a mason by profession, reports our Chattogram staff correspondent quoting Shah Alam, assistant commissioner (Khulshi Zone) of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP).

The injured Anik (24) was admitted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH), he said

"Hanif was stabbed by some men over previous enmity leaving him critically injured," said the AC citing locals.

"He was pronounced dead on arrival by on-duty doctors," said Sub-Inspector Ashek, the in-charge of CMCH police outpost.

"Police are investigating the incident and conducting drives to arrest the killers," AC Shah Alam said.
