Youth stabbed dead at Dhaka's Rayer Bazar

A youth was stabbed to death in Dhaka's Rayer Bazar area early today. 

The deceased, Amir Hossain (28), used to supply drinking water jars at shops in Lalbagh area. 

Two youths --Kabir and Humayun—allegedly stabbed Amir in Aziz Khan Road area around 12:30am, the deceased younger brother Zakir Hossain said quoting witnesses. 

Amir was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 1:15am, he said. 

Zakir claimed that the two youths also beat his brother near the Central Shaheed Minar before over the previous enmity.   

Faruk Hossain, a sub-inspector of Mohammadpur Police Station, said they are investigating the murder and trying to arrest the killers. 

The body was kept at the hospital's morgue for autopsy.
