Youth killed in Narayanganj clash, 4 held

A youth was killed in a clash between two groups over establishing supremacy in Gharmora Bazar under Kalagachia union of Narayanganj's Bandar last night.

The deceased was identified as Roman, alias Cap Roman, 36, son of Adu Mia, of Madanganj Chayalbari Ghat area of Bandar upazila.

Bandar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Bakar Siddique said four people were arrested in connection with the incident without revealing details.

According to locals and police sources, Roman and his group had a longstanding dispute with Md Anik and his associates over control of the burning oil business.

Police have been deployed at the spot to control the situation.
