Youth gang member held for stabbing 3 students in Bogura

A member of a youth gang was detained for stabbing three students in Bogura's Tinatha area this afternoon (October 26, 2022).
The students came under attack near Bogura Adarsha Degree College.
The injured are Md Sohan Ali (18), Md Rashed (18) and Md Rakib (16). All of them are students of Palli Mangal High School, reports our Bagura correspondent quoting Md Lalon, assistant sub-inspector of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital Police Outpost.
Among the injured, two left the hospital after taking treatment as their exam is going on while injured Rakib is undergoing treatment at the hospital with head injury, the SI said.
"I was returning home after attending school around 2:30 pm. On the way, a group consisting 10 to 12 boys intercepted me. Sensing possible attack, I was about to run but they stabbed in the meantime in my left thigh," Rashed said.
He said he could not recognise the attackers.
When contacted, Nure Alam, officer-in-charge of Bogura Sadar Police Station suspected that the attack might be carried out over previous enmity though the injured claimed that they did not recognise the attackers.
