Woman, child found dead in Gazipur

Police on Wednesday night recovered bodies of a woman and child from Deshipara area of Gazipur Sadar upazila.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Inspector Syed Rafiul Karim of Sadar Police Station said locals informed them after seeing the bodies in the area.

The bodies -- a woman around 27/28 years old and a child around 3/4 years old -- bore injury marks on their necks, he added.

The bodies were sent to a hospital for autopsy.
