Two war criminals arrested

Rab arrested two brothers, who were sentenced to death for their crimes against humanity during the Liberation War, in the capital's Mohammadpur and Mugda areas on Thursday.
The arrestees are Abdul Wahed Mondal and his brother Jachhizar Rahman Khoka.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. They had been into hiding since 2016 when they came out of jail on bail, Lt Col Arif Mohiuddin Ahmed, commanding officer of Rab-3, told a press briefing yesterday.
A Rab-3 team arrested Wahed in Mugda and a Rab-2 team arrested Khoka in Mohammadpur, he said.
They had been moving around frequently to avoid arrest, Rab said.
