Students of Dhaka College, Dhanmondi Ideal clash at Science Lab area

Students of Dhaka College and Dhanmondi Ideal College clashed in the capital's Science Laboratory area today.

The incident happened around 11am in front of Dhanmondi Ideal College but the situation is normal now.

The students have taken position inside their campuses, Qayyum, officer-in-charge of New Market Police Station, told The Daily Star.

In the morning, there were incidents of scuffles between the first-year students of Dhaka College and Dhanmondi Ideal College. But the reason for the clash is yet to be known, said the OC.

When the students of Dhaka College took to the streets and tried to move towards Ideal College, they were barred and dispersed by the police, added the OC.
