SSC examinee stabbed to death

A Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinee was stabbed to death over familial rivalries in Kishoreganj's Hossainpur upazila Sunday night.

Riyad Khan, 18, son of Swapan Khan of Piplakandi village, was an SSC examinee from Piplakandi High School.

He was stabbed around 11:00pm over an internal feud between his family member and relatives, said Asaduzzaman Titu, officer-in-charge of Hossainpur Police Station.

Critically injured, Riyad was taken to Hossainpur Upazila Health Complex where the doctors declared him dead.

On information, police recovered his  body and sent it to the Kishoreganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
