Slit-throat body of a man found

Police recovered the slit-throat body of a battery-powered rickshaw driver at Konabari of Gazipur city early yesterday.

The victim, Aminul Islam, 30, is the son of Saha Ali of Jordbaria village in Mymensingh.

SI Liton Miah, of Konabari Police Station, said  criminals killed Aminul near Ambag Ataur Market around 3:00am. Locals found the body and informed the police station, he added.

OC KM Ashraf Uddin said they could not immediately identify the reason behind the murder.
