Rohingya leader Mohib Ullah murder: 3 placed on 2-day remand
A Cox's Bazar court today placed three accused on a two-day remand in a case filed over murder of Rohingya leader Mohib Ullah.
The court of Cox's Bazar Senior Judicial Magistrate Md Helal Uddin passed the order around noon after police sought a five-day remand for each of the accused.
Gazi Salauddin, inspector (investigation) of Ukhia Police Station and also investigation officer of the case, confirmed the news to our local correspondent.
The accused are Md Rashid Prokash Murshid Amin, Mohammad Anas, and Nur Mohammad of Kutupalong Rohingya refugee camp.
According to police, a total of nine people were arrested so far in connection with the case. Of them, Azizul Haque, a key suspect, and Mohammad Elias gave confessional statements.
