Operations of 5 medical colleges suspended

The activities of five medical colleges have been suspended due to a lack of quality education programmes, Health Minister Zahid Maleque told parliament yesterday.

The suspended private medical colleges are Nightingale Medical College, Ashulia, Dhaka; Northern International Medical College, Dhaka; Aichi Medical College, Uttara, Dhaka; Northern Private Medical College, Rangpur; and Shah Mokhdum Medical College, Rajshahi.
