Newborn’s body found on DU campus

Body of a newborn baby girl was found from in front of Math Building on Dhaka University campus this morning.

The body was wrapped in a towel.

Being informed from 999 service, police rushed there and recovered the body around 11:30am, said Md Zafar, a sub-inspector of Shahbagh Police Station.

Police suspected that someone left the body last night.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy. Police are investigating it, the SI said.
