Man’s body recovered from Buriganga

Police this afternoon, recovered the decomposed body of a man floating in the Buriganga river in Fatullah area of Narayanganj.

The body was sent to Narayanganj General Hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Yar Ali, in-charge of Pagla River Police Outpost. However, the identity of the deceased could not be known till 6:30pm, reports our Narayanganj correspondent.

"The locals saw the body floating in the river and informed the police. Cut marks were found on the victim's forehead. He had black shirt and black pants on him," he said.

The cause of death will be known once the autopsy report is received, added the official.
