Man held over rape of two women

A man was arrested yesterday in Naraynaganj sadar upazila on charge of raping two women.

The alleged rapist Delwar Hossain (28) was arrested from Chattogram. Before that, one of the victims filed a case with Narayanganj Model Police Station, said OC Rakibuzzaman. Delwar lived at a rented room and the two women, both RMG workers, lived in a room next to his.

On Friday, Delwar prepared meal for the two after they returned from work. He mixed sedatives with the food. As they lost consciousness, he raped them.
