Man arrested for stabbing Rangpur univ teacher, student

Police on Friday arrested a man on charge of stabbing a teacher and student of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur.

A sharp weapon was also seized from Rifat Hossain (22) alias Alif, said police.

Moniruzzaman, the teacher, and student Porag were attacked by muggers on university premises on Thursday, said Abu Maruf Hossain, a deputy commissioner of Rangpur police, yesterday.
