Madrasa student missing for 3 days found dead in Savar
Police recovered the body of 10-year-old madrasa student from a house in Ashulia of Savar today, three days after he went missing.
The deceased was identified as Rabiul Islam, son of Sumon Mia in Kathgora area, said Al Mamun Kabir, sub-inspector of Ashulia Police Station.
Quoting family members, SI Mamun said Rabiul went out of his house on the evening of September 9 and did not return home.
The victim's father later filed a general dairy (GD) with Ashulia Police Station in this connection.
On information by locals, a police team recovered the body of Rabiul. He was found below the staircase of the house of late Abul Hossain in Durgapur area around 11am today, said the police official.
The body was sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for autopsy, he said.
Talking to this correspondent, boy's father Sumon Mia brought an allegation against one Al Amin for the murder there was conflict with him over money.
Police are looking into the murder, the SI told our Savar correspondent.
