Killing of former college principal: prime accused arrested in Lalmonirhat

Police yesterday arrested the prime accused in the case filed over the killing of former college principal M Wazed Ali from the border area of Patgram upazila in Lalmonirhat.

The arrestee was identified as Nahiduzzaman Pradhan Babu, 24, a local kindergarten teacher by profession, our local correspondent reports quoting officer-in-charge of Patgram Police Station Omar Farooq.

M Wazed Ali, a former principal of Patgram Women's Degree College was murdered on January 20.

Wazed's son Rifat Hasan filed a murder case with Patgram Police Station against some unidentified people and mentioned Nahiduzzaman as the prime accused.
