Japanese national Eriko seeks HC permission to go out with daughters for recreational activities
Japanese national Eriko Nakano today filed an application with the High Court seeking its permission to go out with her minor daughters for shopping and recreational activities, as they are at a house in Gulshan in line with its earlier directive.
She submitted the application to the HC through her lawyer Mohamad Shishir Manir seeking its directive on the government over the issue.
In the application, the Japanese national also sought HC directive on the government for removing all defamatory videos on her from online platforms.
The HC bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Md Mostafizur Rahman will hold hearing on the application tomorrow, Shishir Manir told The Daily Star.
Earlier on August 31, the HC bench directed the authorities concerned to immediately shift the two Japanese children of Bangladesh-born US citizen Imran Sharif and Japanese national Eriko Nakano to a residence in the capital's Gulshan from the DMP's victim support centre in order to ensure their welfare and a family environment for them.
Both the father and mother of the children, Nakano Jasmine Malika, 11, and Nakano Laila Lina, 10, will stay with them till further order so that they can lead a family life with the affection of parents, according to the HC bench.
The HC bench fixed September 16 for hearing and passing further order on the issue.
