Death of Zahin, Zayan: Chairman, MD of pest control service arrested

Detectives arrested the chairman and managing director of DCS Organisation Ltd, a cleaning and pest control service, over the deaths of two children in Bashundhara residential area.

A team of detectives arrested them from different areas outside Dhaka, Mashiur Rahman, deputy commissioner (DB) of Lalbag Division, told The Daily Star.

Ashrafuzzaman, chairman of the company, and it's managing director Forhadul Amin are being taken to Dhaka, the DC said.

Earlier, police arrested Titu Molla, 37, pest control technician of the company, after the victims' father, Mobarak Hossain, on Monday night filed a case for negligence.

Shayan Mobarrat Zahin, 15, a student of class eight, and Shahir Mobarrat Zayan, 9, a class three student, died while undergoing treatment at a city hospital on Sunday.
