Buet student Fardin buried in N’ganj
Buet student Fardin Noor Parash, whose body was recovered from Shitalakkhya river near Narayanganj's Siddhirganj yesterday afternoon, was buried at Delpara Central Graveyard in Narayanganj Sadar Upazila this (November 8, 2022) evening.
Fardin's family members and classmates from Buet were present at the time, reports our Narayanganj correspondent.
Fardin' body was recovered from the Shitalakkhya River in Narayanganj yesterday afternoon after he went missing for three days.
After the autopsy was done, police handed over Fardin's body to his relatives from Narayanganj General Hospital around 1:45pm today.
His first namaz-e-janaza was held on the Buet campus after Zohr prayers. The second namaz-e-janaza was held at Konabari area of Demra after Asr prayers.
From there, the body was brought to their ancestral home in Delpara area and he was buried in the central cemetery of the area.
Meanwhile, after the autopsy in the morning, the Resident Medical Doctor (RMO) of Narayanganj General Hospital Sheikh Farhad said Fardin was murdered.
Dr Farhad said Fardin had injury marks in his head and different parts of his body. There are also injury marks in his chest. "Fardin died three days ago and was physically tortured before his death," he added.
