Bogura medical student dies 10 days after being stabbed
A medical student, who was stabbed in Bogura on November 23 died at a private hospital in Dhaka this morning.
Meheraj Hossain Fahim, 26, was a final-year student at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College.
"We sent Fahim to a Dhaka hospital in critical condition on November 28. He breathed his last around 8:30am today," Rezaul Alam Jewel, the college principal, told our Bogura correspondent.
On November 23, Fahim was stabbed over a feud with a street food vendor.
Police later arrested Shakil Bapary, 26, and his father Farid Bapary, 51, in this connection and sent them to jail via a court order.
Shakil had stabbed Fahim for accusing his father Farid of serving unhygienic food.
