Hurting religious sentiment: Iqbal Hossain, 3 others placed on 5-day remand

A Cumilla court today placed Iqbal Hossain, Ikram, Faisal and Hafez Humayun Kabir on a five-day remand after their seven-day remand ended, in a case filed over hurting religious sentiment in Nanua Dighirpar in Cumilla.

Cumilla Senior Judicial Magistrate Farhana Sultana passed the order after a hearing today, our Cumilla correspondent reports quoting CID Assistant Superintendent of Police Enamul Haque.

The accused gave important information during their seven-day remand. The court granted another five-day remand to recover more important information from them, said the CID ASP.
