Arrest ex-MP Falu by March 24

A Dhaka court yesterday directed the officer-in-charge of Cantonment Police Station execute the arrest warrant for former BNP lawmaker Mosaddek Ali Falu by March 24 in a case filed for siphoning Tk 183.92 crore to Dubai.

Judge KM Emrul Kayesh of the Senior Special Judge's Court of Dhaka passed the order after the OC of Banani Police Station submitted a report, saying Falu's address mentioned in the case's FIR and charge sheet does not fall under the Cantonment Police Station.

The ACC filed the case with Uttara Paschim Police Station on May 13 in 2019.
