6 get death in Khulna rape case

A Khulna court today sentenced six people to death for raping a 14-year-old girl in Bihari Colony area of the city in June of 2019.

The court also fined the convicts Tk 20,000 each, reports our Khulna correspondent.

Four adolescents, aged between 14 to 17 years, were sentenced to eight years in prison each.

Khulna Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-3 Judge A Salam Khan pronounced the verdict around noon today (November 8, 2022), the court's Public Prosecutor Farid Ahmed said.
