4 arrested over Pabna AL’s factional clash

At least four people have been arrested over the clash between two factions of the Awami League at Char Bangabaria in Pabna Sadar.

Members of police and Rab arrested them in sperate drives after a case was filed in connection with the clash that left at least 10 people injured.

The arrestees are Habib Mondol, 36, Johurul Haque, 40, Habibar Rahman, 60, and Md Sanaullah, 35, of Char Bangabaria. They are supporters of ward unit AL president Noju Mondol.

Of them, Sanaullah was arrested on Tuesday night and the rest were held yesterday, said Kripa Shindhu Bala, officer-in-charge of Pabna Sadar Police Station.
