3 Bangladeshi expats found dead in their house in UAE
Three Bangladeshi expatriate workers have been found dead in their home in the United Arab Emirates.
Neighbours and a relative of one of the deceased, who were informed by police about the deaths, said they suspect the trio died from inhaling toxic gas emitted from the generator.
The deceased were identified as Gias Uddin of Chandanaish, Amirul Islam Qayyum and Mohammad Rakib of Bahubali area of Patiya in Chattogram.
All three worked in a grocery shop of another Bangladeshi expatriate and lived in Ras Al-Khaimah.
Mohammad Rahim, the Bangladeshi who owns the grocery shop, confirmed the news of the deaths.
Taj Uddin, president of Bangladesh School in Ras Al-Khaimah, said nothing could be said about how they died until receiving the police report.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh consulate in Dubai said police are being contacted for details of the incident.
Consulate officials said it may take one or two days more to get the police report.
