3 arrested for online gambling

Rab on Thursday arrested three men on charges of gambling online in Patnitala upazila of Naogaon, and seized their computers, smartphones, and printers.

Ata Rabbi, 20, Rasel Hossain, 21, and Mithun Karmaker, 30, were arrested in different areas of the town, said Major Mostafa Zaman, Rab commanding officer in Joypurhat.

They were accused of cyber crime in a case filed with Patnitala Police Station, Mostafa added.
