3 arrested with 110 stolen mobile phones in their possession

Police arrested three people and seized 110 stolen mobile phones from them in the capital's Pallabi and Kafrul yesterday.

The arrestees are Md Rasel, 31, Md Kabir, 25, and Md Siam, 20.

They used to buy the phones from muggers and thieves, change the IMEA numbers using software and sell them to different shops at a discounted price, Jashim Uddin Mollah, deputy commissioner of Mirpur Division Police told during a press conference today.

A case was filed with Pallabi Police Station in this regard.
