2 Rohingyas arrested with 7,500 yaba pills in Munshiganj
Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-10) today arrested two Rohingyas with 7,515 yaba tablets during a raid at Munshiganj's Sreenagar upazila.
The arrested are Abu Taher (21) and Khairul Amin (22), hailing from Ukhiya Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar, reports our Munshiganj correspondent quoting Rab.
Confirming the incident, ASP Enayet Kabir Shoaib, media officer of Rab-10's Sreenagar camp, said, "On basis of secret information, two Rohingyas were arrested during a raid in Tindokan Bazar area of the upazila at 5:30am today."
"They came from Cox's Bazar to sell yaba in Munshiganj. The recovered yaba tablets are worth over Tk 22.5 lakh. A narcotics case has been filed against the accused at Sreenagar Police Station," he added.
