3 killed, 4 injured in 2 separate road accidents in Jashore

Three individuals were killed and four others were injured in two separate road accidents in Jashore yesterday.
Two persons were killed and four others injured after a head-on collision between a bus and a truck at the Dolanghata intersection of Jashore-Khulna highway yesterday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Munna (20) and Tajuddin (32). The duo hailed from Balrampur village of Jashore Sadar upazila, reports our Benapole correspondent quoting police.
The accident occurred when a Shohag Paribahan bus coming from Jashore collided with a soil-laden truck leaving Munna and Tajuddin dead on the spot and critically injured four others, said Shah Alam, sub-inspector of Noapara Highway Police Outpost.
A case was filed in this connection, added the SI.
In addition, a motorcyclist named Sharif Hossain was killed in another road accident at Jashore's Gope Central road.
The injured were admitted to Jashore General Hospital. They are still in critical condition, said on-duty doctor Abdur Rashid.
Three persons died in the two road accidents, he said.
