At the same time, the app will play a helpful role in ensuring that consumers are not deceived, cheated and get safe and adulterated products, the minister said.

The DAM will address the complaints and there will be a call centre.
Farmers and entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to sell without commission by registering for free. The app will be availed in two versions — one for the consumers and another for entrepreneurs.
