Trawler capsize in Barishal: 2 more bodies recovered from Gajaria river

Two more bodies were recovered from the Gajaria river of Barishal's Mehendiganj upazila today, taking the death toll from a trawler capsize to five.

Police are yet to confirm their identities, reports our Barishal correspondent.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mehendiganj Police Station, Md Shafiqul Islam, told The Daily Star that two persons were missing after the trawler sank in the river.

The bodies were recovered during a rescue operation in the morning, the OC said.
