Student killed as three-wheeler hits bike in Narsingdi

A school student was killed and another injured as an engine-run three wheeler hit a motorcycle in Narsingdi this morning.

The accident took place around 9:00am at Dakkhin Daora village on Taltali Charsindur road, Palash Police Station's Officer-in-Charge Md Elias told our local correspondent.

The deceased was identified as Sakibur Rahman, 16, son of Md Malek Mia of Dakkhin Daora village. He was a student of class 10.

The injured is 18-year-old Rakibul Islam, Sakibur's brother. He has been taken to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital.

Akram Sheikh, a local union parishad member, said, "Sakibur was taking training at a local training center for a job abroad along with his studies. The vehicle hit the motorcycle when he was on the way to the training center."

OC Elias said, "Police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy."
