Motorcyclist dead after head-on collision with bus in Manikganj

One person was killed and one other was injured after a passenger bus collided head-on with a motorcycle in Ghior upazila of Manikganj today (July 11, 2022).

The incident happened at around noon on the Dhaka-Aricha highway in Baniajuri area of the upazila when the Dhaka-bound bus hit the Aricha-bound motorcycle, leaving its rider Zubayer (14) of Dhamrai upazila dead on the spot and his pillion Tushar (15) critically injured, reports our Manikganj correspondent quoting Rasel Khan, a sub-inspector of Ghior Police Station.

The injured has been admitted to Monno Medical College Hospital for treatment while the body of the deceased has been sent to Manikganj Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy, said the SI.
