Man dies in bus-truck collision in Ctg

A man was killed and five others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar highway this morning.

The deceased was identified as Mofiz Mollah, 30, from Bhola, said police.

He was the helper of the truck, reports or Chattogram staff correspondent quoting police.

The accident happened as the Cox's Bazar-bound bus collided with a truck bound for Chattogram around 8:00am in Chunati area of Lohagara upazila, said Mohammad Erfan, officer-in-charge of Dohazari Highway Police Station.

Among the injured, truck driver Abdul Mannan, 35, is in critical condition and was sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment, said the OC.
