A Kazakhstani worker at the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant site was killed after a construction vehicle hit him this morning.

The deceased Barjahan (35) was a worker of Nikimth, a construction firm of the Rooppur power plant, reports our Pabna correspondent quoting  Inspector (investigation) Md Hadiul Islam of Ishurdi Police Station.

"The accident happened at about 9:30 am today when the construction vehicle hit the victim while going on reverse, killing him on the spot," said the inspector.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Pabna General Hospital morgue for an autopsy, he said.
