Four killed in road accidents

Four people were killed and another was injured in road accidents in three districts yesterday, according to reports from our correspondents.
In Chapainawabganj, two people were killed as a vehicle hit a motorbike on Chapainawabganj-Sonamasjid highway at Kharagpur in Shibganj.
Mohammad Momin (18) from Namo Koiladiar in Shibganj died on the spot and Nazmul Islam Sumon (35) from Dhobra village was declared dead at Shibganj Upazila Health Complex.
In Dinajpur, a trucker was killed and his assistant injured as the truck overturned after the driver lost his control over the vehicle near a culvert in Nawabganj upazila.
Md Shakil Ahmed (40) from Tantibandar village in Kusthia died instantly, said police.
The injured -- Asif Hossain -- was taken to a hospital in Dinajpur.
In Rangpur, a labourer was killed when a truck overturned at Khalashpur in Pirganj upazila.
Ayatul Islam (45) from Kanchan Mor in Pirganj was killed on the spot, said police.
Ashraful Islam, sub-inspector of Pirganj Police Station, said the accident happened as the driver lost control over the truck.
