Fire at Square pharma factory in Gazipur under control

A fire that broke out at the Square Pharmaceutical Ltd factory at Kaliakoir upazila of Gazipur this afternoon has been brought under control.

Nineteen firefighting units brought the blaze under control at 7:38 pm, reports our Savar correspondent quoting Kaliakoir fire service control room.

The fire broke out at 12:00 pm today. There was no report of casualties.

Earlier at 6:30 pm, Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd Director (Technical) Nawabur Rahman told The Daily Star, "We are still trying to douse it, we need more firefighting support."
