RMG factory fire in Narayanganj under control
A fire that broke out this afternoon at a readymade garments factory in Madanpur area on Sonargaon Road in Narayanganj has been brought under control after around four and half hours.
The blaze came under control at 9:00pm after frantic efforts of 13 firefighting units for around four and half hours, said Ershad Hosain, duty officer at Fire Service and Civil Defence.

The fire broke out on the ground floor and first floor at Jahin Garments around 4:30pm, said Rozina Akhter, duty officer at Fire Service and Civil Defence.
On information, firefighters reached the spot at 4:45pm and began working to bring the fire under control, said the official.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
