Old Dhaka fire under control
A fire that broke out at a building in old Dhaka's Islampur this afternoon, has been brought under control after half an hour.
The fire originated on the Royal Tower at 2:10pm.
On information, eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control at 2:40pm, said Lima Khanam, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
